The CHIP is a 5-year plan being implemented through the collective work of four action teams devoted to Jobs and education, Safe and affordable housing, Violence Prevention and Health care access.
AmeriCorps members will build capacity for CHIP project implementation, assist with grant submissions, coordinate material dissemination and support CHIP lead agency partners.

permanent resident Willing to submit to and pass a national service background check Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) AmeriCorps State/National Member Compensation:
Bi-weekly living stipend $525 pre-tax (approximately $12,600 for 900 hours of service) Upon completion of the 900 hours of service, CNCS provides a $3,172.
50 Education Award for college loans or future education expenses.
