The Central Supply Clerk performs a variety of clerical duties associated with the supply management, provides a centralized distribution location, oversees all shipping and receiving, and maintains appropriate inventory in accordance with company's procedures, and maintains control of supplies and equipment for all departments.
People who perform well in this role often have a background in other administrative roles, such as data entry clerk, office assistant or administrative assistant.

JOB
Responsibilities:
Maintains established medical record files; scans in documentation in the EMR accordance with company policies and procedures as well as federal and state-specific regulations.
Works with legal counsel to prepare records for release of information Scans (Files) Patient information in individual charts accurately.
Maintains a log of all medical records requests for quick reference Compile and verify medical records electronically Review records for completeness and accuracy Respond to information requests for files Retrieve data electronically and obtain reports Answer calls and address questions about medical records Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and ability push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds, which includes the lifting, pushing and/or pulling of medical supplies and equipment and the transferring and repositioning of patients.
