Responsibilities:
Responsible for the coordination of information with Placement Finding, Kinship Family Development, and Resource Family Development for monthly payments to placement providers.
To oversee the functioning of the Cornerstones of Care placement providers' payments.
To aid Finance in the reconciliation of monthly compiled reports for accurate payments.
Addresses concerns and reviews the payments going out to placement providers for accuracy, with an emphasis on the relative and non-relative kinship providers.
Work with each case manager to make sure any and all placements for each client for the month are entered timely and accurate.
Addresses troubleshooting and fixing payment errors for placement providers with the assistance of the Finance Department.
Provides training and direction with the help of Placement Finding to new case managers on timely and accurate entry of placement providers to decrease recurring errors in payments.
Assist other departments in reviewing payment error reports.
Review compile report monthly and addresses issues in a timely manner and accurately.
Tracks submission and completion of relative referrals to ensure correct payments.
Coordinates and oversees records in Avatar and CareMatch system to ensure electronic records are accurate and timely updates are completed by case management staff.
Track 5120 with case teams and provide DCF the acknowledgment of placement and levels of care for CareMatch.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
This position requires a bachelor's degree in a human service or business field and 2 years of experience in administrative or child welfare areas.
Preferred:
master's degree in a human service or business field.
Proven customer service experience.
Supervisory experience.
Knowledge of computer skills (Microsoft Office) and data entry as well as knowledge of specialized computer programs including Avatar and CareMatch.
Knowledge of COC and Kansas DCF policies and procedures.
Knowledge of COC contracts with external providers.
Years of
Experience:
1 to 3 years.
Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check, physical and drug screening.
This position also requires a valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
