The Reliability Engineer provides leadership to the Maintenance Department by overseeing the development of technical maintenance systems and assisting in the training and development of team membersIn partnership with the Maintenance manager, the Reliability Engineer is the Reliability Pillar Leader and is responsible for improving plant up time, asset utilization, efficiency and capability by implementing proven professional maintenance and reliability-centered improvement processesThis individual ensures preventative, proactive and reactive maintenance support for all plant customers and is responsible for developing the department budget with the Maintenance ManagerDUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES To be the champion of reliability centered maintenance activities, utilizing the professional maintenance world class manufacturing (WCM) techniques in driving equipment reliabilities to the highest possible levelsEnsure key performance indicators are captured and reported for equipment reliability, planning and scheduling business flow processAll performance measures are tracking on the reliability pillar boardResponsible for machine inspections, establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs, Upkeep and accuracy of equipment maintenance history and jobs record database (vibration analyses, oil analysis, and thermal imaging, etc.
)Review Predictive Maintenance work orders generated from the Preventative Maintenance program, prioritize, and schedule accordinglyCollaborate with maintenance supervisor to schedule manpower resources for the most effective production and maintenance outcomesAnalyze Maintenance Key Performance Indicators to assist in finding opportunities for improvementDevelop cost and time estimates of Reliability planned maintenance work and implement maintenance cost improvement conceptsAssists with the Computerized Maintenance Management System up-keep, accuracy, & improvements of equipment maintenance history and job records databaseSubject Matter Expert for Predictive Maintenance Programs including Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, Oil Sample & Analysis, PdMA Motor Testing and LubricationStrong understanding with industrial electrical power distribution, motors, breakers, and transformersStrong understanding of safety programs and policiesPerform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by managementR equired Qualifications What do you bring? Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar disciplineMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance function in an industrial environment with demonstrated expertise in electrical reliabilityGood working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS):
Preferred SAP, MP2 or 7 I, PMCProficient in Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookExperience with 5 S, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Reliability Centered Maintenance techniques (RCM) and lean manufacturingStrong people development, teaming and collaborative decision making skillsDisplays the confidence needed to face the toughest leadership challengesEffectively uses power and influenceEffectively communicates goals and interplay of ideas and concepts Demonstrates a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problemsWho are we?
