Midland Care's Kansas City PACE Center is now hiring PRN Transportation Driver's!SummaryThis position will safely and efficiently transport patients/participants to and from appointments, the PACE Day Center and their homes.
This position is responsible for assisting patients/participants in and out of their residences as well as in and out of different medical/social buildings.
Main responsibility is driving a bus, though may drive other vehicles on occasion.
Midland Cares Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a not-for-profit health care program that helps people at risk for needing nursing home care who meet a level of care requirement stay in their own homes and communities.

Must possess a valid Kansas or Missouri Drivers License (within 30 days of hire for out of state licenses), current automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organizations insurability standard as defined by Midland policy.
These must be current at hire and remain in effect throughout employment.
Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical and drug screen.
Must continue to pass these throughout employment.
Must have a current DOT physical at all times.
Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position.
Due to insurance company requirements, must be 25 years of age or older.
Preferred:
Prior driving experience.
One year of experience working with a frail (elderly or disabled) population.
