Responsibilities:
Coordinate all travel and lodging needs for incoming Butler Transport drivers.
Ensure the proper approval documents have been completed and driver activities prior to orientation are efficiently completed.
Enter and prepare travel and lodging invoices for management approval.
Respond to inquiries from prospective drivers and make outbound calls and other communications in a very timely manner to ensure a positive result to various recruiting leads and activities.
Conduct phone interviews and pre-qualify company drivers.
Conduct and review pre-employment checks on new driver applicants and make job offers.
Coordinate with safety department on new hire orientation process for all new drivers.
Schedule drug screens, physicals and MVR checks as may be needed.
Serve as point person for potential drivers during recruiting process.
Perform other duties as may be needed, or assigned, to meet business needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements Experience Requirements:
Must have Driver Recruiting experience in the transportation industry.
Must have knowledge or experience in office procedures and use of office equipment.
Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing; pleasant telephone manner; able to think on feet when dealing with callers.
Customer service oriented with a can do approach to your work.
Knowledge of computers; specifically, experience in Microsoft Office is preferable.
Must have superior organizational skills and accuracy.
Excellent problem solving and people skills also required.
Ideal candidates for this position will have:
Experience as a recruiter, specifically recruiting OTR drivers.
Experience with applicant tracking systems helpful, including Tenstreet.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite required.
Strong verbal, written, multi-tasking and communication skills.
Ability to make sound decisions on objective data.
Ability to perform duties with minimum direction and work in a team environment.
Education requirements:
