The Job Review blueprints, specs, and client documentation for accurate project estimation.
Collaborate with others on fabrication and erection plans.
Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for new projects and change orders, meeting deadlines.
Estimate materials, labor, equipment costs, etc.
, and create thorough bid estimates.
Enter estimates into our computer program, including takeoffs and draw numbers.
Interpret bid instructions, prepare material takeoffs, and estimate labor and costs.
Coordinate with Sales and Pre-construction Teams on project details and deadlines.
Follow estimating guidelines and procedures.
Provide alternative recommendations when required by management.
Summarize pricing estimates and results for project review.
Specialized Knowledge Customary construction terminology and knowledge estimating software packages.
Basic understanding of detailing procedures and building structures.
Basic understanding of modelling concepts.
Must have great attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
