Branch Manager/Operations Officer and/or President Position Purpose Perform transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high degree of accuracy.
Maintain accurate transactional records, providing basic cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures.
Responsible for handing confidential information in a professional and proper manner.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a courteous, professional and timely manner providing prompt, accurate, and efficient member transactions.
Responsible for handling incoming phone calls.
Responsible for balancing cash drawer and financial transactions, prepares daily deposits.
Research and resolve discrepancies.
Report any discrepancies to supervisor.
Receive share drafts/checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verify amounts, examine checks for proper endorsement and enter deposits into computer records.
Cash share drafts/checks and process withdrawals; pay out money after verification of signatures and member balances.
Place the proper holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
Opens and processes daily incoming mail.
Process membership applications, accept deposits and issue receipts, disburse share withdrawals, mail requests for information/loan applications, process share drafts and ACH presentments, post payroll deductions/direct deposits, make deposits of daily receipts and handle cash in a safe and accurate manner.

Teller/MSR Reliance Credit Union Count, check and package coins and currency.
Ensure that the teller station is properly stocked with forms, supplies, brochures.
Offer assistance to members and welcome requests.
Take ownership of issues by acting as a member's advocate.
Follow through on all commitments.
Develop a knowledge and skill of the CU's data processing system.
Develop an understanding of CU history, philosophy, and operational procedures.
Maintain an up to date and comprehensive knowledge on all related policies and procedures, roles and regulations.
Assist members with account questions, loan payment questions or discrepancies.
Assist member with Credit Union website, assign and reset passwords for online banking and assist with bill pay program.
Handle requests from members for transfers of shares to loan payments, share withdrawals, check requests, CD transactions, line of credit advances and any other requests received from Promote credit union products and services base on the member's needs.
Stay up to date comprehensive knowledge on all credit union products, services.
Stay up to date and comprehensive knowledge on all related polices and procedures, rules and regulations.
Keep member's business in strictest confidence.
Stay informed about Credit Union products, policies and procedures.
Performs other responsibilities are required or assigned.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
