Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health conditions - Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans - Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate interventions - Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce negative behaviors - Facilitate group therapy sessions and provide individual counseling as needed - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation - Monitor and report any changes in clients' mental health status or behavior - Provide case management services, including coordinating referrals and accessing community resources Skills:
- Strong understanding of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques - Experience working with children and adolescents, particularly in a pediatric setting - Knowledge of clinical counseling principles and practices - Ability to provide counseling and support for individuals dealing with gender-related issues - Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and skills.
