The IT Business Analyst III will participate in a cross-functional team environment as part of the DFA Shared Applications Team.
This position will be responsible for becoming knowledgeable in implementing, maintaining, and enhancing JDE business applications.
The candidate will interact with to key business users to configure and enhance JDE business applications as needed to meet business requirements.
This includes supporting our project teams, providing input on system design, integration testing, user training, and post go-live support.
The candidate will also provide day-to-day production support, including coordination with team members and external consultants.
The candidate will follow approved DFA project management and governance standards.
Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Support DFA's JDE E1 Operations & Warehouse processes across the organization covering including Distribution and Transportation along with end user support and training as required.
Work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand, gather, and document business requirements and transform them into JDE business solutions that can be implemented and supported.
Identify and resolve system issues by working with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define systems goals and operational requirements.
Collaborate in the prototyping, planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
Work with DFA's JDE Implementation team to learn and help support their processes when needed, including sales orders, contracts, pricing, billing, credit, shipping and delivery processing, system integration with customers and 3PLs.
Clearly communicate system changes, enhancements, and modifications - verbally or through written documentation - to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.
Follow DFA Development, Governance and Project Management standards.

Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in the field of Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related equivalent experience 5 to 8 years of business system analysis or related experience Certification and/or license - n/a Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Able to demonstrate written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with business users, stakeholders, technical teams, and various levels of management Able to listen and communicate in a clear and concise manner, along with the ability to recognize the audience and tailor communications accordingly Able to work independently Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, including the ability to prioritize Able to organize time and resources effectively to achieve goals (i.
e.
, organizational skills) Able to demonstrate leadership qualities as a self-starter, set direction, and complete assignments Able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels Able to demonstrate strong customer service orientation Must be flexible with work schedules and available to work overtime on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice Strong work ethic with ability and willingness to do 'what it takes' Able to work on-call Must be able to read, write, and speak English Travel:
75%-100% (3
