Travel Licensed Practical Nurse
NCG Associates, a renowned healthcare staffing agency, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our teamAs a Travel LPN at NCG Associates, you will have the exciting opportunity to travel and work in a variety of healthcare settings across the nation while providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or physician Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans Provide basic nursing care, including wound dressing, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed records Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care Educate patients and their families on effective self-care techniques Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with healthcare standards Stay updated with current nursing practices and participate in professional development activities Requirements Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an LPN Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare software Knowledge of nursing principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare environments and travel to various locations BLS certification (Basic Life Support) Willingness to comply with all travel assignments and requirements BenefitsLocation:
