Accounting Assistant

General Information:
$15 / hr Contract Hour with possible permanent conversion
Duties:
Maintains and processes accounting transactions to assist with accurate financial reporting.
Reconciles the more complex accounts, identifies discrepancies found, and provides the corrective action to be taken. Assists with month end close activities and preparing financial exhibits.
Communicates with others within the department or outside of the work area (employees, customers, suppliers) in order to exchange information and to answer questions or resolve issues.
Prepares various financial reports.
Specific Position Requirements
As an Accounting Assistant:
We need an excellent communicator, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment.
Required: Understanding of SOX and internal controls.
Required: Strong background with accounting principles.
Required: Proven
computer
and Office skills.
Not Required, but Helpful:
o An Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
o SAP Experience.
o L043 Experience.
o Knowledge of marketing unit.
o Knowledge of dealer organization
