Essential Job Functions
Work closely with assigned unit specific
management
and employees to improve work relationships, build engagement, increase productivity, manage performance and attract and retain talent
Initiate, facilitate and assist with implementing change management and organizational development activities
Partner with Centers of Expertise resources/shared service providers to ensure timely and high quality delivery of HR
services
/programs
Supervise a small group of human resources management professionals
Train, develop and evaluate employees
Make decisions based on general policies and procedures
Skill and proficiency in a wide range of HR practice areas
Administer Talent Management process
Counsel/coach leaders/employees on various matters
Interviews applicants for salaried employment
Lead in the preparation of data and analysis of reports
Interpret human resources management policies and procedures
Qualifications
Basic Required
Strong interpersonal skills including facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution
Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and work to plan
Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly proficient use of HR
systems
and
computer
Software Application skills
Basic Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources/related discipline
