Delivery Route Driver

POSITION
Summary:
This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service through accomplishing delivery of sold parts in a timely fashion to support the business model and vision of the Radiator Depot.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Customer Service - 80% oPull parts and organize delivery routes according to Radiator Depot protocol
oDeliver products according to sales orders following any special instructions that are noted on invoices
oEnsure that all protocols for customer service is being followed to include proper warranty and pick-up procedures
oCollect any payments that are due according to invoices and payment procedures
oClearly communicates with router to create realistic expectations for delivery times
oConducts daily inspection of vehicles
oFollow all local laws and regulations regarding transportation and travel on roadways
oMaintain an exemplary driving record both on and off duty
Administrative Duties 20% oFiles all paperwork according to local procedures at end of delivery runs
oMakes sure that all warranty paperwork is attached to returned products
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must have good eyesight and hearing
Excellent ability to think proactively, anticipates employee and customer needs
Ability to multi-task with conflicting priorities in a pressured environment while still maintaining a customer-oriented demeanor.
Self-directed and able to prioritize and meet deadlines with professional, quality results.
Proven organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to effectively handle multiple, concurrent priorities.
Computer skills, with knowledge of basic office systems.
Excellent communication skills both inter-office and customer communication
Blue collar work ethic
Job Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or a GED
Must have a valid drivers license
Must have the ability to do basic math
Basic understanding of Microsoft office suite
Must have a dependable mode of transportation to and from work
Must have suitable clothing
Must be able to lift maximum of 50 lbs
Must be mobile and capable of carrying parts to and from delivery vehicles
Must have a vehicle that can accommodate product for delivery
Must have proof of insuranceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
