Prepare documents for scanning. (Involves removing staples, straightening corners, repair, etc.).
2. Operate 16mm and 35mm image scanning equipment, which includes full understanding of which equipment will be used on various documents, and to make all necessary camera lens settings and equipment adjustments.
3. Operate all basic image scanning production equipment.
4. Make operational adjustments as required to assure quality imagery. (Adjust lens, adjust heights, etc.).
5. Operate quality control, and inspection equipment as per established standards and procedures.
6. Perform cleaning operations on production equipment for preventative maintenance.
7. Maintain schedule of production set out by Lead Imaging Technician and Supervisor of Electronic Document Management Services.
8. Maintain equipment supplies.
9. Maintain master micrographic and imaging files.
10. Perform other similar and related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Abilities: High School Diploma or its equivalent, and one year office related experience. The incumbent to this position must have the ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal forms. Also have flexibility to multitask at all levels to get required results. The Clerk I position is required to maintain a high standard regarding safety and to support workplace safety. The incumbent is required to have an excellent attendance record and be willing and available to work overtime and holiday work as required. If required to drive, the incumbent must have all applicable licenses as required by the State of Kansas. The incumbent must complete a minimum of two (2) computer classes (Word, Excel, Access, PeopleSoft, or other job related computer classes) in order to bid a Clerk II position.
Physical Requirements: All applicants for this position who are required to drive on a regular basis will be required to submit and pass a drug test before actual appointment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
