This is our direct-client opening for an ERP PeopleSoft Administrator located in Kansas City, KS. This is a 3-6
month contract-to-hire position and the hourly rate depends on experience. The full-time salary once the position converts to a full-time position is in the 90-100K range. Our clients prefers local candidates to the area but will consider non-local candidates (relocation assistance may be provided on a case-by-case basis).
The System Administrator will serve as a functional and technical expert of enterprise technology systems. Incumbent will collaborate with IT Systems Analysts, Business Analysts, Database Administrators, other IT Application Support staff, and system owners on decisions affecting corporate information technology systems. Incumbent will ensure compatibility of information by reviewing business requirements, documenting system requirements, developing and documenting functional specifications, technical specifications and developing test plans and detailed test scripts. Incumbent will analyze system designs and informational requirements of new or production systems to ensure data integrity and adherence to all system/database standards. Troubleshoot system problems and work with responsible parties to ensure issues are addressed.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ensure optimal system performance by assisting with configuring, documenting, and monitoring system applications (i.e., application server, web server, process/batch scheduler and report repository configurations, etc.). Responsibilities may include debugging, configuring, tuning, or changing system parameters.
Responsible for creating, maintaining, and communicating IT procedures as related to system changes, performance, and maintenance. Analyze and troubleshoot system performance issues. Monitor application logs and handle priority issues in a timely fashion.
Assist with application and database testing/coordination on large projects. Should be one of the primary points of contact when critical issues arise and may assist responsible teams mitigate issues as cause of issue is identified.
Assist with design and configuration of Enterprise Resource Planning systems. Assist with management of Web Services environment. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the applications implemented at Utility.
Assist with migrations as deemed appropriate by the Applications Development, Network Operations, and IT Security to ensure proper segregation of duties.
Download, install and test Tax and Regulatory Updates as available for download from MOS in the Tax and Regulatory Updates for PeopleSoft HCM folder.
Configure and support Oracle Weblogic Server 9.2 and above, Big IP F5 LTM, IIS 7.x, OBIEE Web/App Server, Tuxedo Server, PeopleSoft Tools 8.49 to 8.51, Ascential ETL Server
Assist with backup and recovery, monitor vendor patches, upgrades, and fixes as related to assigned systems and recommend implementation of those deemed necessary.
Assist with maintaining and updating the Utilitys business continuity and disaster recovery plans and procedures.
Participate in team reviews of system designs and code walkthroughs to ensure that customer approved requirements are met while achieving optimum system performance. Assist others in IT to identify the most cost-effective solution when implementing new systems.
MINIMAL EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or other related field is required.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years current experience working with enterprise utility technology systems.
Four (4) years experience with the implementation and/or supporting Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP) and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, including at least three (3) years in structured systems analysis and design or object oriented analysis and design.
Technical experience is preferred in Oracle and SQL database administration, networking, and Windows and/or UNIX/LINUX administration.
Should have training in file structures and design, information retrieval techniques, file access methods and controls, and development and documentation standards.
The ideal candidate must be well organized, highly skilled in the areas of oral and written communication and be highly skilled in solving problems.
Desirable
Qualifications:
Three (4) years experience in a PeopleSoft Administration role.
Knowledge of: PeopleSoft FSCM, HCM, EPM, ELM, OBIEE, Portal, versions 8.9 and above, People Tools 8.49 and above, PeopleSoft Internet Architecture, Harris Cayenta CIS, Software AG 9.5
Knowledge/experience with cyber security requirementsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
