TYPICAL ASSIGNMENTS
Applies technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions such as:
-Replacing components and wiring circuits
-Repairing simple electronic equipment
-Taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers and oscilloscopes.
-Work with and take direction from Senior Level Electronics Technicians.
-Work typically requires detailed understanding of the interrelationships of circuits.
-Receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher level technician in performance of tasks and displays knowledge in the use of complex test equipment
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of experience installing, maintaining, and/or repairing a variety of electronic equipment along with flexibility to perform tasks outside of the normal job duties.
100% Travel across the Eastern Region (lodging and per diem provided).
Must be able to lift 30lbs.
Knowledge and successful history of working on equipment in a live environment preferred.
Basic use of a computer with Microsoft Office is required for reporting purposes.
This position requires a security background check by the Federal Authorities and must be able to meet customer security requirements (moderate to high risk).
