We serve commercial end-users, waste water dealers and distributors, commercial and industrial operations, municipal treatment facilities, residential well water installers and residential end-users. We manufacture and sell products ranging from light duty diaphragm pumps to high-flow turbine pumps and solid handling pumps designed for water, wastewater and a variety of industrial applications. Applications for our broad range of products include fire, agriculture, oil and gas, along with pumps for residential and municipal wells, water treatment, wastewater solids handling, pressure boosting, engine cooling, fluid delivery, circulation and transfer.Flow Technologies also serves an ever increasing need for water systems globally.
Job Summary
Analyze, organize, and layout the application of centrifugal pumps to conform with customer requirements of a complex nature. Encompasses total application engineering function, will service multiple regional sales offices and distributors, and cover municipal, industrial, commercial, fire, and agricultural markets. Focus will be on supporting Latin & South America region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Analyzes, organizes, and describes the application of Pentair products to conform to customer requirements. Supplies technical information on product performance, auxiliary equipment needed, installation requirements, pricing and delivery schedules.
Determines product notification and/or design modification to adapt products to customer's needs. Determines possible application of non-company products. Coordinates product design with the Engineering Department.
Supplies technical data of product application to sales inquiries, instruction manuals, pricing sheets, etc., and prepares technical data and reports to establish information useable as a reference in a technical area.
Direct the application of new products or modification of older products.
Consult with customer and/or customer representative to plan or clarify job requirements.
Assist in product training to internal personnel and/or field sales and assist in product presentations to customers or distributors.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing preferred.
Bi-lingual skills (Spanish, preferred),
Computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office. Strong analytical skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to communicate professionally with individuals both within and outside the organization. Organizational skills required to respond to and meet multiple deadlines. Self-motivated.
Experience:
Technical knowledge and experience in sales of centrifugal pumps. Experience in reading and understanding technical plans and specifications. Experience with multiple software packages desired, including Microsoft Office, J D Edwards and SAP
