Summary:
Production Technicians operate and monitor a variety of equipment in a safe and efficient manner in three distinct process areas that include raw, cook, and clean room.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Operator Care- basic lubrication, inspection adjustments, repairs, cleaning (CLAIR)
LEAN Manufacturing- Contribute to a continuous improvement environment by participating in activities to include line side problem solving.
Participate in 5S program to contribute to a safe and organized work environment.
Safe and efficient chemical handling- id/measure/combine.
Use high pressure hose (water/air) to clean machine parts.
Perform inspections before, during, and after, sanitation process for condensation, food particles and protein build up.
Assist in set-up and teardown of equipment.
Basic electrical and ammonia awareness required to protect electrical components during clean up.
Lifting, bending and moving max 30lbs.
Monitor, interpret, and resolve system alerts.
Perform effective calibration of temperature probes.
Document accurate completion of batch HACCP log sheets.
High Speed critical inspection capability
Safely and efficiently resolve jam ups and equipment malfunctions.
Identify material quality defects and take appropriate action.
Operate scales
Utilizing handheld digital scanners and VMUs (Vehicle Monitor Units) to ensure proper raw material, ingredients, (clips, casing, and spices) supplying the right ingredients to the right work order.
Open and close work orders in the MES system.
Operate fork lift following all safety guidelines.
Identify and act upon system based error messages.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

High School diploma or equivalent
Associate degree preferred
Experience:
2
years of manufacturing experience preferred
Prior high speed manufacturing experience
