ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform daily cashier duties including but not limited to balancing the cash drawer with daily receipts.
2. Assist with creation of weekly cafeteria menus.
3. Assist with preparation of daily breakfasts and lunches.
4. Supervise automatic washing machine.
5. Assist with preparation of special occasion meals.
6. Assist with ordering supplies and food for meals.
7. Practice Serve Safe standards at all times.
8. Dress professionally at all times.
9. Maintain a high level of kitchen safety and sanitation.
10. Other duties as assigned by the TEC Dean.
Job Credentials:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1. High School Diploma
2. One year experience with institutional food production preferred
3. Serv-Safe or Food Handlers Card preferred.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
1. Knowledge in bakery, meat & vegetable cookery, breakfast and desserts.
2. Knowledge of sanitation and current health concerns.
3. Ability to operate Automatic Ware washing machines.
4. Good communications skills and ability to relate professionally to other workers and students.
5. Basic math skills including measurements, recipe conversions, balancing cash drawer daily.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to stand for 6 hours continuously
2. Ability to lift 50 lbs.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
