POSITION AVAILABLE: PROMOTIONS EVENT COORDINATOR (Part-time)

Summary: Cumulus serving the Kansas City area is seeking qualified applicants for the above part
time job opening. Work with Promotions/Sales/Programming Departments to execute successful promotions
for the Kansas City Cluster including: 95.7 The VIBE, Magic 107.3, 94.9 KCMO, 105.1 JACKFM, 102.5 NASH
ICON, 101 The FOX and Chiefs Radio Network.
We're looking for an Event Coordinator to join our team and work with our Promotions Department working
from our offices in Mission, KS. We offer a creative, business-oriented environment for the pursuit of
professional excellence.
We're seeking a detailed-oriented and self motivated applicant with excellent event coordination and event
management skills. Applicants should have prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with the
ability to troubleshoot and remedy situations quickly and calmly.
The Event Coordinator is responsible for set up and break down of events, engaging the crowds, taking
photos at events and filling out recaps after the events. The event coordinator should make sure we are
prepared with all necessary supplies and should elevate the overall branding of the station while at events.
Experience - Skills - Duties:
Knowledge of Microsoft Software Applications Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Flawless eye for detail
Team Player Attitude
Resourceful mentality
Ability to troubleshoot
Scheduling and communication with other event staff
Creativity is a must
Outgoing personality is a must
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to lift at least 20 lbs
Experience/Skills: Microsoft Programs, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Photoshop, Basic Web Site editing and
HTML, event planning. Must be able to work nights and weekends, and have a clean driving record.
