We re looking for candidates who can perform service and installation of company product(s), including replacing current Nortel phone system with Cisco VoIP digital system. You will be testing and verifying for proper performance including hunt sequence of IVR and IEQ.
Familiarity with use of Butt Set, Punch Tool, Toner/Tracer and Electrician scissors for installation and troubleshooting is preferred. (Tools will be provided and training as necessary.)
Responsibilities:
Represents CompuCom in a professional and businesslike manner and communicates effectively with customers and associates. Interacts with customer responding to technical questions or request for information. Maintains the highest level of customer satisfaction by resolving all tangible problems and concerns. Ability to travel to attend equipment and customer based classroom training as requested. Utilizes web-based project/incident ticketing systems to update work orders timely and accurately for customer, management and vendors. Maintains necessary tools, devices, and parts, personal and company owned, to complete VoIP installations, to include follow up maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of installations as needed. Properly removes and packages all equipment of old phone system for safe return to customer. Provides technical support to customers on the operational or maintenance aspects of installed equipment. Serves as the first point of contact for technical and service related problems for customers. Diagnoses and resolves mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures, using established procedures, documentation and support contacts. May involve use of problem management databases and help desk system. Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support as needed/required. This includes service that exceeds response time, repair time, lack of parts, or any other issue that could impact customer satisfaction. Primarily provides Tier 1 & 2 level support. Performs general maintenance tasks, troubleshoots, and repair telephony systems and peripheral equipment. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience, high school diploma, or technical training, or equivalent combination of education and technical experience Ability to attain A
certification within 90 days of employment Telephony System/Basic LAN/WAN experience preferred Experience supporting computer systems in a retail environment preferred
Must have Clean Driving record
