Facilities Technician

Maintaining non-production facility equipment including the building, HVAC/R, electrical, cleanrooms, boilers and chillers;
Periodically inspecting the premixes to determine needed repair work;
Responding to maintenance and building calls for equipment repairs and emergencies;
Scheduling preventive maintenance in cooperation with plant and production requirements;
Replacing or updating inoperable or old buildings materials and appliances;
Obtaining estimates for materials or equipment.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma required; Trade school or Associates degree preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment;
Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment;
Experience working on non-production facility equipment;
General carpentry, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and innovative solutions skills;
Boilers, chillers, HVAC or HVAC/R, cleanrooms, electrical distribution experience is a plus;
Effective communication skills;
Willing and able to work evenings or weekends as needed.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
