As a Software Engineer you will design and develop highly-scalable web applications that run non-stop around the globe. You will utilize the latest tools/technologies using agile methodologies to deliver solutions used by thousands of organizations.
A successful candidate for this role will have strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, be highly fluent in design and development of large multi-tier systems, and possess a strong desire to tackle complex business problems with creative solutions.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for building .NET web applications
Designing, coding, and supporting leading-edge web applications
Designing and implementing improvements to the performance, usability, scalability, and maintainability of our software products
Mentoring and coaching less experienced/skilled team members
Continuous improvement to processes and practices with new ideas, concepts, methods and technologies
Required Experience/Skills:
BS/MS Computer Science or related field, and/or relevant work experience
Working knowledge and belief in Agile values and principles
Working knowledge of Agile engineering practices with emphasis on Emergent Design, TDD, Refactoring, and Pair Programming
WCF experience, creation and consumption of services, manual proxy creation, supporting multiple binding types, and System. Service Model attributes
Ability to work in a highly collaborative style with team members, stakeholders, and customers
Ability to lead through influence, mentoring, discussion, and example rather than relying on authority
Demonstrated experience with C#, .NET framework, and object oriented design/development.
Experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern
Demonstrated experience relational database design and implementation using MS SQL Server
Developing multi-tier enterprise class web applications
Experience with Visual Studio including Visual Studio 2010
Experience in SOA and web service development with WCF
Working knowledge of design patterns
Working knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and LINQEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
