Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. To qualify for this position, you must meet one of the following criteria:
A- Have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-04 level that includes 1. Experience preparing/reviewing documents and correspondence to verify accuracy of information and correctness of format in conformance to established procedures; 2. Experience using various types of software to produce a wide range of documents. B- Have 4 years of education above high school leading toward a degree in an applicable field such as (not limited to) business, accounting, management, etc. C- Have a combination of experience and education. D- Meet both A and B. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-04).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
