Management Analyst

As a Management Analyst you will:
oConduct detailed analyses of functions and work processes of broad administrative or technical programs and makes recommendations for improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations. oDevelop new methods and management processes. Counsel and advise program managers on methods and procedures, management surveys, management reports, and control techniques.oAnalyze existing workflows, analyze and research best practices, and identify options to enhance workforce configurations to improve organizational performance. oConduct broad or specific studies and assess results relevant to workforce goals and objectives. Experience:
For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Experience applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of program operations; AND - Reporting findings and making verbal and/or written recommendations that are adopted by management; AND - Experience conducting projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations. Specialized
Experience:
For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
-Assist with the process of applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of program operations; AND - Reporting findings and making verbal and/or written recommendations that are adopted by management; AND - Assist conducting projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations. OR - Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR - 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR - LL.M., if related OR Combination:

Experience:
For the GS-09, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Participate in the process of applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of program operations; AND - Participate in conducting projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations. OR - A masters or equivalent graduate degree or two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D. Education must be related to the position to be qualifying. OR Combination:

Experience:
For the GS-07, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
assisting in conducting research and compiling data from multiple sources. Examples of this experience could include:
- Collecting and researching data; OR - Assisting in the coordination of reports to make sure they meet timely distribution. OR One full year of graduate level education (attach a copy of your transcript or list of college courses designating semester or quarter hours earned to ensure proper credit). OR Superior Academic Achievement based on a bachelor's degree that is demonstrated through class standing (upper 1/3 of class); grade point average (2.95/4.0 overall or 3.5/4.0 in major), or election to membership in a qualifying national scholastic honor society. OR You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. To combine education and experience, the total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the requirement, as well as the percentage of completed education compared to the requirement must equal at least 100 percent. The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. General
Experience:
For the GS-05,you must have 3 years General Experience. General experience for this position includes:
General Experience is 3 years of progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4 in the Federal service, that demonstrates the ability to:
1. Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2. Plan and organize work; and 3. Communicate effectively orally and in writing. OR You may substitute education for general experience as follows:
completed 4 full years of education above high school leading to a bachelor's degree. OR You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. (For example:
the completion of 50% requirements for a bachelor's degree and 6 months of general experience.) Time-in-Grade:
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11level for 52 weeks. For the GS-11, you must have been at the GS-09level for 52 weeks. For the GS-09, you must have been at the GS-07level for 52 weeks. For the GS-07, you must have been at the GS-05level for 52 weeks. For the GS-05, you must have been at the GS-04level for 52 weeks.Time After Competitive Appointment:
Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
