You can qualify for this position if you have:
A bachelor's degree with either a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) based on a 4.0 scale; a 3.5 GPA (4.0 scale) for required courses completed in your major field of study during your junior and senior years at a 4-year college or university; class standing of upper third of your graduating class in the college or university, or a major subdivision of the college or university; or membership in a National Scholastic Honor Society certified by the Association of College Honor Societies, excluding freshman honor societies. OR One full year of graduate level education in an accredited or pre-accredited college or university. The education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the work; OR One year of specialized experience at the GS-5 (or equivalent) grade level working in areas requiring that you determine facts, analyze issues, and interview witnesses, such as investigating employment discrimination or other kinds of charges/complaints, labor relations, human resources or law enforcement. Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-5 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS- 7 level. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
